Last night’s event was nothing short of spectacular. All of the elements, from food to music to fashion, fell into place to create the type of multi-sensory experience we’d like to see more of in Chicago. The evening opened with a VIP cocktail party full of petite amuse-bouche accompanied by specialty cocktails by Avion Tequila.
After whetting their appetites and being pampered by Mario Tricoci staff the crowd filed into the main tent where the light slowly dimmed to reveal a catwalk glowing in deep electric blue. Local Artists Brandon & Lucas Marx set the tone of the show with fresh alternative rock. Having a local group opening for InspiredDesign was particularly appropriate given that the central theme behind the evening’s fashion was the music, art and culture behind the inspiration of each of the Chicago designers collections.
